Striving for “Perfect” Care — CMS Quality Measures
White Memorial participates in a voluntary three-year program run
by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) along
with 360 other hospitals nationwide. The CMS quality measures
track how well we follow recommended standards of quality
care that research has shown to be effective in treating
certain common conditions.
The results for all participating hospitals from across the country are published online at www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov. The graph shows how well we did in the five CMS quality measures: heart attack (AMI), heart failure (CHF), coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), pneumonia (CAP) and hip and knee replacements.
